Owatonna Police have named – and are searching for – a suspect in the homicide of a young woman found shot to death earlier this week.

He is identified as Jason Lee Horner, 38, who most recently lived in Faribault.

He’s described as a white man, 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing about 215 pounds.

Horner was last seen with short brown hair and hazel eyes; he has tattoos on his arms, hands and legs.

Authorities caution the public not to approach Horner; anyone with information on his location or what kind of vehicle he may be using is asked to call 911.

If you have any other information related to the case, you’re asked to call the OPD at 507-444-3800.

Horner is allegedly suspected in the death of Sabrina Lee Schnoor, 25, of Elysian. She was found Tuesday night behind the Steele County Administration Building on Florence Avenue.

Authorities said she died of a single gunshot wound.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting in the investigation.
