With her head buried in her lap, Lois Riess leaves in a sheriff’s transport vehicle Aug. 11 from Kasson-Mantorville High School where she pleaded guilty to killing her husband, David, in March 2018 outside of Blooming Prairie. The sheriff’s office transported her to the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Shakopee where she will spend the rest of her life. The judge ordered her to life in prison without the chance of parole.
