BREAKING NEWS: Freeborn County authorities looking for escaped prisoner

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who escaped from the Freeborn County Detention Center in Albert Lea Monday.
Sheriff Kurt Freitag said detention deputies discovered around 5:30 p.m. that Victor Nava-Urioste, 26, of St. Paul escaped from the jail. Freitag said Nava-Urioste escaped through a jail door that was believed to have been locked, but was unlatched. He then walked through a hallway that leads to an exterior door at the southwest corner of the government center. 
Investigators found video that showed Nava-Urioste leaving the Freeborn County Government Center at about 12 noon. He walked across Broadway Avenue South between Front Street and Pearl Street, according to Freitag.
The sheriff said U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officers have been contacted and are currently assisting in the search for Nava-Urioste. He was being held in the Freeborn jail on a detainer for ICE. 
Albert Lea Police took a stolen vehicle report from Graceland Cemetery at about 2 p.m. The suspect description is similar to Nava-Urioste, Freitag said. The stolen vehicle is a 2003 silver Toyota Camry with Minnesota License 978 TJJ. 
Sheriff Freitag says Nava-Urioste is not considered dangerous.
