BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Casey's closed due to COVID-19

A clerk at the Casey's Store in Ellendale has confirmed that the Blooming Prairie store is closed because of COVID-19. He didn't know exactly how long the store may be shut down, but thinks it could be at least two weeks. The clerk said, "Be careful out there."
 
No other details about the COVID-19 case at the Blooming Prairie store are known at this time. Efforts to reach officials at Steele County Public Health for comment have been unsuccessful as the director is apparently on vacation.
