BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Freeborn Prisoner Escapee Captured in St. Paul

Federal authorities have captured the prisoner who escaped from the Freeborn County Detention Center on Monday.
Sheriff Kurt Freitag said Victor Nava-Urioste was taken into custody again Tuesday morning after a high speed chase in St. Paul. U.S. Immigrations and Customs officers tried to stop him in the stolen vehicle he took in Albert Lea, but Nava-Urioste refused to pull over. The chase eventually ended on a dead end road where he was soon apprehended after a short foot pursuit.
St. Paul Police assisted with the investigation. 
Freitag said the investigation is on-going and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
