BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Sheriff identifies man killed in Saturday’s crash

Steele County Sheriff Lon Thiele has identified the 19-year-old man killed in Saturday’s single vehicle crash involving a tree outside Owatonna.
The victim is Brett Alan Delhanty of Owatonna. Thiele said Delhanty was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Lemond Road south of U.S. Highway 14 around 5:20 a.m. Saturday.
Thiele said the crash remains under investigation by the Steele County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol, which is assisting with reconstruction of the crash.
