Christine Roeder, 61, Owatonna

Christine D. Roeder passed away on Nov. 18, 2025, at the Owatonna Hospital, in Owatonna, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Owatonna on July 23, 1964, to Ezra and Louise (Meyer) Erickson. Christine attended area schools and graduated from Claremont High School in 1982.

She married Richard Roeder June 9,1984, and together they had two children, Zachary and Vanessa. In 1991, Richard passed away.

Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, gardening, taking care of her dogs, journaling and writing, and spending time with her family—especially her mom and dad.

She is survived by her children, Zachary and Vanessa Roeder; grandchildren Lily, Charlotte, Veda, Maci, and Henry; her parents, Ezra and Louise; sisters, Karen (Greg) Federly, Anne (Oscar) Pendleton, and Kathy (Mike) Grenier; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her brothers, Steven Paul and Douglas Erickson; and her sister, Rene’.

Friends greeted the family at the Brick-Meger Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025. Interment will follow on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, 521 Cemetery Road, Mantorville.
