Delores Mabel Neubauer, 93, Owatonna

Delores Mabel Neubauer, 93, of Owatonna, died on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Birchwood Cottages.
She was born July 7, 1930 in Aurora Township to Dominik and Mathilda (Hammann) Moravec. Delores attended country school while helping on the family farm and then worked for Owatonna Canning Company.
She met Marvin Neubauer, and on January 24, 1954, the couple was married at the old St. John Lutheran Church on State Avenue in Owatonna.
Delores loved to read, cross-stitch, crochet, and complete her various puzzles. She was always tending to her big garden on the farm and baking or cooking a delicious meal for her family. Delores was a member of the St. John’s Fellowship Club and the Ladies Aid. You wouldn’t dare call her when she was watching the Wheel of Fortune or listening to the Party Line on KRFO. Most of all, Delores loved to spend quality time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Larry Neubauer of Owatonna, Linda (and John) Rowan of Northfield, David (and Donna) Neubauer of Claremont, Donna (and Elwen) Dittmer of Owatonna, Ronald Neubauer of Claremont, Rhonda (and Jesse) Walderon of Owatonna; grandchildren, Tracy, Kelly, Lindsey (and Blake), Christa (and Donavin), Heidi (and Ryan), Jill (and Tim), Sara (and Ryan), Nathan (and Megan), Steven (and Danielle), Edward, Lucas, Trace, and Garrett; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Bertha Moravec.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Neubauer; parents, Dominik and Mathilda Moravec; grandsons, Randy Neubauer, Justin Neubauer; brother, Alvis Moravec; daughter-in-law, Nanette Neubauer.
Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran, Havana Township with a visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Alan Broadwell officiating. Interment will be in the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, in Havana Township.
