BREAKING NEWS: BCA WRAPS UP CASE OF TODDLER FOUND DEAD BY BP

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has completed its investigation of the circumstances surrounding the death of little Noelani Robinson found dead in a ditch outside of Blooming Prairie March 15.
On Friday, the BCA released a statement saying it has provided its findings to the Mower County Attorney’s Office in Austin for review of possible charges. The BCA said Robinson died of homicide due to blunt force trauma to the head.
The Mower County Attorney’s Office says it is in the process of reviewing the material provided by the BCA. No further information is available at this time.
Noelani’s father, Dariaz Higgins, 34, has been charged with first-degree homicide in the death of the girl’s mother. He is in custody in Milwaukee, Wisconsin awaiting trial. He is also the suspect in the girl’s death.
The 2-year-old was found wrapped in a blanket and dumped in a ditch along U.S. Highway 218 just north of Blooming Prairie. The Steele County Sheriff’s Office immediately turned over the investigation to the BCA.
