BREAKING NEWS: BOY HURT IN PEDESTRIAN CRASH IN MEDFORD

A juvenile boy was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon at Medford Straight River Park.

The Steele County Sheriff’s Office responded to a pedestrian crash at the park around 5:45 p.m. When emergency personnel arrived, they found the victim lying on the ground with care provided by adults in the area. 

The boy was taken by North Memorial Air Care to St. MarysHospital in Rochester. His exact condition is unknown. 

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and is cooperating with law enforcement, according to the Sheriff’s Office. 

Assisting the Sheriff’s Office were Medford Fire, State Patrol, Owatonna Police and Mayo Ambulance.
