BREAKING NEWS: Senior pastor resigns amidst sex charge against youth pastor

The fallout over the arrest and criminal charges against a former youth pastor continues with the resignation of the church’s senior pastor.
Rev. Mark Perryman, senior pastor at Northridge Church in Owatonna, resigned Sunday, according to several former members.
He is the father-in-law of Sean Masopust, who was charged last week with felony criminal sexual conduct, the result of his alleged contact in 2018 with a youth group member at the church.
Perryman reportedly knew about the inappropriate conduct, but Masopust remained a youth group leader and an associate pastor at the church.
In addition, Tammy Perryman, the director of Sunshine Tree daycare at the church and Masopust's mother-in-law, stepped down late last week.
Masopust is out on bail and is due back in court in April.
