BREAKING NEWS: Teen killed outside Owatonna

A single vehicle crash has claimed the life of an Owatonna man.
 
Sheriff Lon Thiele said a 19-year-old man was killed in the early morning crash in the 3600 block of Lemond Road south of Owatonna. The man was a lone occupant in the vehicle.
 
Thiele said the vehicle crashed into a tree. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Thiele.
 
The sheriff has not released the name of the victim yet. 
 
No other details are available as the crash is under investigation.
