BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Deadly crash on Hwy. 14 claims 2 more lives

A deadly crash on a stretch of roadway that has become known as the “Highway of Horrors” claimed yet two more lives Wednesday night.
Two people died on Hwy. 14 at County Road 3 on the east edge of Claremont around 6 p.m. The State Patrol is in the process of identifying family members before released the names of the deceased.
According to the patrol, a car crashed head-on into a semi tractor trailer. Upon impact, the semi caught fire. The semi driver was taken to a Rochester hospital with minor injuries.
The crash closed Hwy. 14 for about four hours Wednesday night.
This is nearly the same area where Rachel and Emerson Harberts were killed in September 2018.
