News Bulletin: Owatonna Police respond to bogus robbery report

Contrary to information circulating throughout the community about an armed robbery taking place at Let’s Ride in Owatonna Friday night, the incident did not happen, police said Saturday.

Police received a report and responded appropriately for the information provided at the time. However, the report of a robbery was not true.

A spokesperson for the Owatonna Police Department confirmed the case is still open investigation, but there is absolutely no threat to the public.
