Rescheduled Gus’ Station Car Show this Saturday

Due to the rain storm
during the original date, the Steele County Historical Society has moved the fifth annual Gus’ Station Car Show to Saturday, Aug. 3, 8:30
a.m. to noon at the Steele County History Center in Owatonna.
Classic cars of all
ages, new and old, domes- tics and imports will be on display throughout
the facility parking area at the SCHS, ensuring there is something for everyone to see. The car show is a participant voting system, with open class trophies to the
top ten vehicles. A dash plaque will be given to all entries. There is a $5 per vehicle registration fee.
The show will feature a
wide range of specialty ve- hicles scheduled to attend.

The fund raising breakfast was held on the original date, so no breakfast will be held on the alternate date.
Guests can stroll through the Village of Yesteryear and purchase commemorative items in Gus’ Station and are also available in the County Junction Gift Shop locat- ed in the History Center. Admission to the car show is free, however do- nations are always appre- ciated. All proceeds go to Gus’ Station Restoration and proposed addition of
a service bay to be located next to Gus’ Station.
