LaMar Wutschke, 82, Owatonna

LaMar Roy Wutschke, age 82, passed away Nov. 18, 2025, in Owatonna.

Funeral service was on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at the Brick-Meger Funeral Home presided by Pastor Billie Jo Wicks. Friends greeted the family prior to the funeral.

LaMar was born to parents Marvin and Dorothy (Laundt) Wutschke in Owatonna.

He attended Medford High School.

LaMar married Janet Verplank in 1963, they had four children: DeAnn, DaNae, Shane and Sarah. The two later divorced.

LaMar was a versatile, accomplished, gifted and well-rounded tradesman, working many jobs throughout his life. He had a creative mind as he was always trying to improve and problem solve.

He liked hunting and fishing but most of all he loved his family. LaMar’s family will miss his quick wit and the ability to make people smile.

LaMar is survived by daughters, DeAnn Dittrich, DaNae (Tim) Stenzel and Sarah (Cam) Bettin; grandchildren, Maria (Logan Hutchinson) Dittrich, Lilli Dittrich, Sammi (John) Baron, Kody Stenzl, Alix (Peter Leach) Bettin, Rylie Bettin and Mason Bettin.

He was preceded in death by parents; son, Shane Wutschke; one brother and one sister.
