Paul A. Wick, 74, Owatonna, died Nov.19, 2025, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Funeral service is set for Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Brick-Meger Funeral Home, 1603 Austin Road, Owatonna. Friends may greet the family starting at 10 a.m. Paul will be laid to rest at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault, with military rights provided by the Faribault Veteran's Honor Guard.
Paul was born Aug. 9, 1951, in Grand Forks, N.D., the son of Harold S. and Florence E. (Dilworth) Wick. He graduated from Faribault High School in 1969. Paul served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era until 1971.
After his military service, Paul was united in marriage to Connie (Carver) on July 21, 1972. The couple made their home in Faribault, Grand Forks, and finally settled in Owatonna in 1984. Paul worked for Steele County in building maintenance until his retirement in 2013. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna. Some of his many life interests included: gardening, hunting and playing the guitar.
Paul is survived by his wife, Connie, sons Daniel (Faye), and Jacob, grandsons Ben and Ian; siblings: Harold Jr (Claire) of Apache Jct, Ariz., Roger (Susan) of Fargo, Peggy (Bill) Berg of Faribault, Sally (Randy) Schuehle of Eagan; many nieces and nephews; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in -law and their families.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother Stephen (Mandy) Wick, brother Gary Wick and nephew Matthew Schuehle.
