Rachel's Hair sold to associate

Rachel's Hair LLC of Blooming Prairie has been sold.
Rachel Hansen, store owner in Blooming Prairie the past 10 years, has sold her salon to associate Emily Allison. She has been a cosmetologist for 16 1/2 years.
Allison has worked the past year-and-a-half in Rachel's salon. Allison, a graduate of Blooming Prairie High School in 2008, has been a hairstylist for nine years.
Lachelle Wondra, another stylist at Rachel's, will remain with the shop, which will get a new name, but it has not been decided as yet, says Allison.
"I'm excited and a little nervous," Allison said.
Hansen’s last day was Friday, Dec. 21 and that was an emotional day for her. Her fellow workers tried to raise her spirits by bringing her a tiara and also her own walker.
Hansen said she is looking forward to spending more time with her family. She and husband Steve have three children, Alivia, 15; Bristol, 7 and Harper, 6.
"I am very thankful for my many clients over the year who made my dreams come true," said a grateful salon owner, Hansen.
Hours of the salon will remain the same, Allison says.
