Raymond Siebold, 44, of Owatonna, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025.

He was born May 15, 1981, in Libertyville, Ill., to Paul Siebold and Nancy Hogate. Ray moved to Owatonna, in 1984. He attended Owatonna High School and graduated in 2000. He then went on to proudly serve in the Minnesota National Guard and was honorably discharged from the army in 2015 with a rank of sergeant.

After the military, Ray went on to work at Daikin in Owatonna and became a team lead. In his free time, he enjoyed electronics, 3D printing, smaller mechanical work, sci-fi and anime.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Nancy; son, Shane Smith of Owatonna; daughter, Taylor Siebold of Owatonna; stepson, Brayden Radke of Owatonna; brother, Johnathan Siebold-Deml of Owatonna; sister, Mary Jo Schwartz of Owatonna; nephews, Cohl, Cody, and Caden Schwartz of Owatonna; grandma, Minnie Hogate of Owatonna; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Roger Hogate; brother, Brad Vorbeck; and members of the Deml family.

A memorial service will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Following the service, a luncheon will take place at Michaelson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed towards the family.
