Steele County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Death at Four Seasons

Steele County, Minnesota — August 19, 2026 — The Steele County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident at the Four Seasons in which a deceased individual was located near a vendor booth.

Deputies responded to the location and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the death. The Steele County Coroner’s Office is assisting with the investigation.

The identity of the deceased is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.

Additional information will be released when it becomes available and when investigators determine that its release will not interfere with the ongoing investigation.
