Adam Kreutter, 43, Owatonna

Adam Blake Kreutter, 43, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026.

Born on July 13, 1983, in Owatonna, Adam lived life to the fullest, bringing constant humor, playful banter, and an unforgettable presence wherever he went.

Adam is survived by his loving wife of nearly 18 years, Christina (Huxford) Kreutter; his children, Kiana Smith, Jerez Autridge, and Tyson Kreutter; his parents, Mark and Linda (Weaver) Kreutter; his brother, Aaron Kreutter (Aryanna Kreutter); his sister, Amanda Stephan (Justen Stephan); his grandmother, Diane Burns (Kreutter); and many beloved in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas Kreutter and Bob Weaver, and his grandmother, Nelma Ratcliff.

Known affectionately as "Uncle Fester" and "DJ Adam," Adam never met a stranger. He had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and included, and he was usually the one shutting down the party at the end of the night. Whether he was playing dice, sharing a laugh, singing karaoke, spinning music as a DJ, or playing guitar and drums, Adam brought energy and joy to every gathering.

Adam loved spending time with Tina at their camper, especially by the lake. He enjoyed motorcycling, trout fishing, ice fishing, yard games, and had recently discovered a passion for golf. A protector at heart, he was always willing to help others, often leaving what he was doing to lend a hand during storms or times of need. A devout Christian, Adam's faith guided his life and relationships, inspiring him to love others generously and serve those around him with compassion and kindness.

Though known for his inappropriate jokes that could break the ice in any room, beneath that humor was a big teddy bear that had a special way of making others feel accepted and at home, whether they had known him for years or had just met him. He worked at Quality Appliance in Faribault, where he was respected for his hard work and caring nature.

Adam's love, laughter, and larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed. As family and friends know well, if you have a photo of Adam without a middle finger raised, you either caught him off guard or Tina got to him first. He dreamed of one day being called "Papa Long John" by his future grandchildren, a title that perfectly matched his playful spirit.

A visitation and funeral service were held at Bethel Church, Owatonna, on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026. Cut off sleeves and bandanas were welcomed.
